I specifically showed the plumber a prior camera report documenting root intrusion in the sewer line and discussed it with him. Afterward, the company sent written proposals for several other things the plumber recommended, but nothing about the root intrusion. The plumber recommended routine/annual snaking rather than major repair. I followed up asking why that recommendation wasn’t included. Also, I had to put some spacers on top of the flange because of the new tile floor, and the top of the flange is now just 1/8\" BELOW the tile. Extra thick perhaps?
