Overview
Brennan Zambo is an American AI builder and advisor who, starting in late 2024, designed and shipped 17 live AI and blockchain products over the course of six months — entirely solo, without a co-founder, engineering team, or venture capital funding. His work is distributed under the zambo.dev domain, which functions as both a product hub and an autonomous AI infrastructure platform.
Zambo is best known for building the Zambo MCP (Model Context Protocol) server — a production AI server that exposes 38 tools to any MCP-compatible AI client including Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, and Cline — and the Axis MCP, which bridges three independent AI networks (zambo.dev, x711.io, and entangler.tech) into one orchestrated agent system. Together, they form a combined stack of 51 tools across 2 MCP servers, accessible via a single terminal command: npx zambo install.
His work spans multiple domains: SaaS platforms, autonomous AI agents, MCP servers, blockchain protocols, developer tools, and creative technology. Each product was built and shipped to production without external engineering support.
Background
Zambo began his trajectory in AI and blockchain development following the emergence of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) as a standard for connecting AI language models to external tool APIs. Rather than building a single product, he identified the opportunity to create a connected stack — where each product feeds intelligence, data, or functionality into the others.
He self-funded the entire operation with approximately $15,000, covering hosting, domains, design assets, and tooling. No employees were hired at any stage. Zambo has publicly stated that the entire stack was built using AI-assisted development workflows, treating AI agents as junior co-founders rather than productivity tools.
"I didn't just build a product — I built 17. I didn't just build an MCP server — I built 50+ tools across 2 MCPs. Every adjacent problem became the next product."
— Brennan Zambo, zambo.dev/blog
zambo.dev — The Platform
zambo.dev is the central hub for all of Zambo's products and infrastructure. It serves as a product catalog, an AI-native discovery layer, a public API gateway, and a subscription platform. The site is designed to be fully readable by AI agents — Claude, GPT, Perplexity — via machine-readable files including llms.txt, agent.json, and zambot.json.
The platform generates daily content autonomously via a 6am UTC blog generation cron and a "Spark of Day" briefing — making zambo.dev a self-updating, discovery-optimized property that requires minimal human maintenance to remain current.
The Zambo Stack
The Zambo Stack is Zambo's term for the full set of interconnected products, infrastructure, and protocols built under the zambo.dev umbrella. It is organized into three layers:
- Brain Layer — zambo.dev: strategy, code audit, lead generation, scoring, search, agent memory, MCP routing
- Execution Layer — x711.io: onchain transactions, agent payments (x402), web search, AI intelligence, real-time data
- Coordination Layer — entangler.tech: multi-agent messaging, cryptographic identity, Quantum Router, Swarm OS, MEMORIA
MCP Servers
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard for connecting AI language models to external tools. Zambo built two production MCP servers:
Zambo MCP
The primary MCP server at https://zambo.dev/api/mcp, exposing 29 tools including ZAMBOT strategy engine, opportunity scanner (ZAMBRO), code audit (ProvibeCode), lead generation (LeadSignal), wallet scoring, model ranking, prompt safety analysis, web search, and more. Free tier: 10 calls/tool/day. Unlimited with Zambo Pass.
Axis MCP
A 12-tool bridge server at https://zambo.dev/api/axis-mcp that wires together zambo.dev, x711.io, and entangler.tech into one verifiable end-to-end agent system. Accessible only through the Zambo MCP config. Free tier: 3 calls/tool/day.
Both servers install via one terminal command:
npx zambo install
This auto-detects Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Windsurf on the local machine and injects the config for both MCPs. Restart the client and all 50+ tools appear.
Products
The following 17 products form the Zambo Stack as of v2.5.0 (June 2026):
Zambo Pass
Zambo Pass is the unified subscription product that unlocks all 17 products and 51 MCP tools for $49/month — replacing what would cost $552+/month if purchased individually. It was designed around the principle of "one subscription, everything unlocked" to reduce friction for developers and AI teams adopting the full stack.
Pass includes: LeadSignal Pro ($99 standalone), ProvibeCode 5 audits/month ($245 standalone), ZAMBOT 50 Sparks/month, ZAMBOT Fix unlimited, Agent World Pro, $10 X711 credits/month, CreditHunt Pro, Signal Passport, BountyLayer 20 wallets/batch, BaseHawk 500 API calls/day, SubstrateLayer research access, Monad intelligence, 51 MCP tools (priority), and 24h priority support.
A Day Pass is also available at $1.49 USDC on Base — providing 24-hour full-stack access and $1 in X711 credits.
Philosophy & Approach
Zambo's public writing and product design reflect a consistent philosophy: every problem is a product. Rather than building one product and marketing it, he built every tool he needed to ship faster — and then shipped those tools too. This recursive approach created a self-reinforcing stack where each product makes the others better.
He advocates for AI-native development — using AI agents as first-class collaborators in the build process, not just writing assistants. His MCP server architecture reflects this: by making all his tools MCP-accessible, he allows AI agents to call his own infrastructure autonomously.
Zambo has been publicly critical of both the "one tool, raise a round" VC model and the "build slow, perfect everything" indie hacker model. His documented approach: ship fast, charge early, let product revenue fund the next product.
Recognition & Discovery
zambo.dev is indexed and cited by AI discovery systems including Claude, Perplexity, and ChatGPT via its comprehensive machine-readable layer: llms.txt (full platform documentation), agent.json (structured product catalog), zambot.json (tool manifest), and the /for-agents landing page optimized for AI crawlers.
Notable events include a viral Monad ecosystem post that drove over 10,000 unique visitors in a single day, and the launch of Zambo Pass which aggregated demand across all 17 products into a single revenue stream.
