Public REST API

Read and check receipts

These endpoints return public receipt data. No API key is required. Cross-origin browser reads are allowed. A receipt check compares the saved record with its recorded commitment; it does not establish that the work or answer is correct.

List recent public receipts

GET https://zambo.dev/api/receipts/recent?format=v2&limit=20

Use limit to choose a page size and pass the returned next_cursor back as cursor to fetch the next page. The response includes receipts, next_cursor, and has_more. Each list item contains a receipt id, tool, and timestamp.

Open live receipt feed

Verify one receipt

GET https://zambo.dev/api/v2/receipt/{receipt_id}/verify

The response includes api_version, receipt_profile, id, the public receipt, verification_status, and named checks. A live example is receipt cbc81c10-aa7c-4cff-9ed6-82bebacd4393; its current response reports verification_status: "verified".

Cross-origin requests

The public read endpoints above allow browser requests from other origins with Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *. An OPTIONS preflight is supported for GET requests. Response bodies and receipt verification behavior are unchanged.
