Set a spending limit
Choose how much your AIs can spend on Zambo each day. See confirmed charges and their receipts in Today.
Your limit, before payment
Open your private Today link, enter a dollar amount under Limits, and save. Zero blocks new Day Pass payments for that work connection. No limit means Zambo has no additional spending cap for it.
Payments must carry the same private work connection. A recipient continuation has its own controls and cannot read or change the sender's Memory or spending cap. Limits do not control an external wallet or unrelated work connections. Pending payments hold their budget until settled or reconciled. Days and months use UTC.
For builders
spend_limit_set {_session_id,daily_usd,monthly_usd?} and spend_limit_status {_session_id} are free. A refused payment returns HTTP 402 with spend_limit_reached, limit_usd and today_url before a transfer is requested. Replaying a settled payment does not create a second charge.
A funded agent may pay for its own $0.99 USDC Day Pass via x402 on Base within its wallet and user limits. Zambo requires no human approval; users can forbid self-payment or require confirmation. POST /api/agent402/day-pass aliases /api/x402/day-pass. Human card checkout remains at Day Pass.
A receipt checks that saved bytes are unchanged. It does not prove the answer was right.
