Deliver AI-made work to your client, with proof

By Brennan Zambo · Published

Short answer: To deliver AI-made work with proof, send the client a Zambo Handover: one link that shows each step as a verifiable receipt. The client can verify every step in the browser and then accept or flag the work, and their answer gets its own receipt.

The trust gap

Freelancers and agencies use AI for research, audits, drafts and data pulls. Clients reasonably ask what was actually done, and whether they can trust it. Screenshots and chat exports are easy to make and hard to check. A long email describing your process is still just your word.

A handover replaces "trust me" with a link the client can check themselves.

Step by step

  1. Connect Zambo. Paste https://zambo.dev/mcp into the AI you work in. No key.
  2. Do the work through Zambo. Have your AI use Zambo tools for the job, for example ghost_audit_site for a site audit, pdf_extract to pull a document, leadsignal for local leads, or provibe_audit for a code audit. Each call returns a verifiable receipt. Keep the same session for the whole job.
  3. Work across AIs if you need to. If part of the job happened in another AI, open the same continuity thread there (continuity_open_thread). A handover can pack a session or any continuity thread.
  4. Ask for the handover. Say: "Use zambo to hand this over to my client." The handover tool gathers the receipts, redacts emails, phone numbers and keys, and closes everything into one summary receipt.
  5. Send one link. Paste the handover link into your email or invoice.
  6. Client checks it. On the page, the client presses Verify all, which runs a browser check of each step. They can even try to break a step to see the check fail. Then they press Accept or Flag.
  7. Follow up. handover_status shows the current status and any client message. It doesn't use your execution quota. handover_list lists your public handovers for free. Private and unlisted handovers need a Day Pass or Zambo Pass.

What the client sees

What it proves, and what it doesn't

A handover shows that these steps ran and that the saved outputs haven't changed since. It doesn't prove the work is good. That's still between you and your client. In the current AER-1 draft (-20), receipt origin is self-asserted, with no issuer authentication. Say so plainly if a client asks.

FAQ

How do I prove to a client what my AI did?

Do the work through Zambo, then say "Use zambo to hand this over to my client." You get one link where every step is a verifiable receipt the client can check.

Does my client need a Zambo account?

No. They open the link, press Verify all in their browser, and accept or flag the work.

Will private details show up on the handover page?

Emails, phone numbers and keys are redacted when the handover is created. Still review the page before you send it.

Is Handover free?

The public page, browser verify and Accept/Flag are on Free. Creating handovers is free up to 20 per day. Listing your public handovers is free. Private and unlisted handovers need a Day Pass or Zambo Pass.

Does a handover prove the work is high quality?

No. It shows which steps ran and that the saved outputs haven't changed since. Quality is still for you and your client to judge.

CTA: Paste zambo.dev/mcp into your AI. Then say "Use zambo to hand this over to my client."
