How to let an AI agent pay with USDC

Last updated: 2026-10-05

Plain answers about using Zambo, keeping your work, and checking receipts. A receipt shows what Zambo recorded for one call. It does not prove the answer is right.

An AI agent can buy a Day Pass using USDC on Base through an automated wallet payment request. When its free calls run out, it receives the amount and network details, pays $0.99, and can keep using eligible tools for 24 hours. A person never has to type a card.

This payment flow was tested live on October 4, 2026. The agent needs its own funded wallet and enough USDC for the price and network fees. Zambo does not hold its funds or control its wallet.

The payment request is not permission to spend. Set the AI client to ask for approval before the wallet signs or submits payment. Review the amount, network, and destination before the agent proceeds.

People who prefer human checkout can visit the Day Pass page and pay with PayPal. This is separate from the agent wallet path; neither starts a subscription.

After payment, keep the returned access key private. Use it only in the Zambo connection that needs the pass. The Day Pass lasts 24 hours from activation.
