How to share memory between ChatGPT and Claude
Last updated: 2026-10-05
Plain answers about using Zambo, keeping your work, and checking receipts. A receipt shows what Zambo recorded for one call. It does not prove the answer is right.
Add Zambo to ChatGPT and Claude with the same key. Save a note or project context in one app, then ask the other to retrieve it. This does not copy every conversation.
- Open /connect/.
- Pick ChatGPT, then Claude.
- Use the same key in both apps.
When capture is on, Zambo can save supported session notes, project context, and links to receipts. It can retrieve saved notes through its continuity tools.
Memory saving is off until you turn on capture in Zambo's continuity preferences. A verified Pass may start with capture on by default. If capture is off, Zambo does not save new private timeline entries.
Turn off future saving in continuity preferences. There is no delete control for saved timeline entries today; turning off capture does not erase earlier notes or public receipts. Avoid storing sensitive details.
Keep your key private. To stop using Zambo, remove its connection from each AI app and turn off future capture first.
