KEEP THE TASK MOVING

How to Not Lose AI Chat Work

Save important work in a compact handover before a chat closes, a tab crashes or you switch AI apps.

1. Save the useful context

In your current AI chat, ask for this wrap-up if you can still send a message. Otherwise, write it yourself from the work you can copy.

Wrap up this job so I can continue in a new chat or another AI you use. Include the goal, the goal, decisions, completed steps, relevant receipt links and one next action. Separate completed work from proposals. Keep the useful text and source links. Do not include passwords, keys or personal details. End with one clear next action.

2. Make one handover link

  1. Open Zambo's Continue page using the button below.
  2. Paste the wrap-up or useful work into the text box. Add a short task title if helpful.
  3. Review the public-sharing notice. Remove anything private, then confirm and create your link.
  4. Copy the pickup prompt from the result page.

3. Pick up in a new chat or another AI you use

Paste the pickup prompt into a new chat or another AI you use. If it cannot open the link, copy the handover's public text into the chat.

Open the handover in the next chat, check that its summary matches your request and continue with one scoped step.

What moves, and what does not

Zambo carries the text you choose. It does not import your whole chat or prove that the work is correct. The link is public, so do not include confidential work.

A handover carries only the text and links you choose. It cannot preserve hidden chat state, transfer uploaded files or grant app permissions. Do not include confidential material in a public link.

Common questions

Does a handover save my entire chat?

No. It saves a concise summary and selected receipts or links, not hidden state or every past message.

Do uploaded files move to the new chat?

No. Upload any necessary file separately in the destination app, if it supports it.
